Daisy Hicks Casting was launched in late 2023 by Daisy Hicks, a Casting Director with more than a decade of experience. Daisy developed an eye for casting at i4 Casting then honed that eye at McGregor Casting. She gave the eye a rest for a few months and then returned to start her own shop, with her casting eye now firmly focussed on inclusion, collaboration and great storytelling.

ACCOUNTS MANAGER & STUDIO ASSISTANT: Fran Lebowitz

Not to be confused with the other Fran Lebowitz, Fran joined the Daisy Hicks Casting team after a distinguished career in lounging, napping, and staring wistfully out of windows. Fran will tell you she is not a nepo baby, however, her boss would tell you that she is a nepo baby.

As Accounts Manager, her responsibilities include staring blankly at spreadsheets before hitting random keys and reminding everyone to take snack breaks. Her innovative financial strategies, such as introducing the groundbreaking "Two Walks Per Day" initiative and
the reallocation of resources to treat budgets, have revolutionised office morale.

As Studio Assistant, Fran is responsible for shaking hands with everyone who walks in the room, calming actors' nerves and providing critical feedback between takes.

In her downtime, Fran enjoys networking with fellow sighthounds at the park, thought-leader napping, and the occasional squeaky toy brainstorming session.
